Mr. binman Christmas racing Festival
Limerick's four-day Christmas Festival takes place from 26th - 29th December, and promises plenty of glamour, festivities, music, entertainment and of course top-class jump racing. It's the perfect place for some post-Christmas fun & socialising!
The Festival is expected to welcome nearly 20,000 attendees over the four days and there is something for everyone. For the racing enthusiast, there's the prestigious Faugheen Grade 1 race with massive prize money of €100k. For families, a Family Fun Day with children's amusements, entertainers and much more! And not forgetting the socialisers - Big Boss Group, one of Ireland leading event planners, will be bringing their unique flair to create a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment and there's great style prizes to be won too.

St. Stephen's Day racing is a tradition in the mid-west and last year saw record crowds and an incredible buzz that spread right across Limerick. This year, Limerick Racecourse will collaborate with Big Boss Events and Master Chefs to deliver racegoers the best of catering, hospitality and live entertainment to complement the excellent card of National Hunt Racing.

Amidst the great entertainment, food and beverage choices, the second day of the Limerick Christmas Festival features Ladies Day with the Holman Lee Agency. Expect a dazzling display of fashion with the Most Stylish Lady and Couple Judging building on the recent success at the Munster National Weekend. After a great day of racing racegoers can now look forward to the thrilling clash between Munster and Leinster rugby, in Thomond Park for the ultimate day out.

Day three of Limerick Christmas Festival is Grade One day. The Grade 1 Faugheen Novice Steeplechase is the feature race of the day and with massive prize money of €100k up for grabs - it's sure to be a thriller. As on all 4 days Limerick Racecourse are offering excellent varied options for hospitality from our Private Suites to the Panoramic Restaurant 4 course Luncheon to Social Packages.

Planning a family reunion, meeting old friends, celebrating an occasion? Look no further - Family Fun Day invites families to enjoy a festive day filled with activities including carnival rides, face painting and characters plus much more. There will be excellent entertainment during and after racing so you can make an evening of it.

Getting to limerick racecourse
Getting to the Festival couldn't be easier with a FREE bus service operating from Limerick City.
