Snowfall emulated Enable with a thumping Oaks double and is now 3/1 to join Galileo’s legendary filly by winning the Arc in the same season, writes Tom Harle.

The winning margin was half that of the Epsom romp - eight and a half lengths this time, from stablemate Divinely.

But the statement laid down will reverberate in just the same way, dominating the division in the same way as Love did in 2020. Longchamp and the Arc could beckon for both

She is the 15th filly to do the English and Irish Oaks double and the first for Ballydoyle since Alexandrova in 2006.

Snowfall put the hammer down on the hottest day of the year and delivered on 2-7 favouritism with the alacrity of a star in the making.
