Future
Ticketing, an Irish owned global provider of cloud ticketing software for
events and venues, was today announced as a new sponsor at the upcoming Shannon
Airport Christmas Racing Festival at Limerick Racecourse. The new sponsorship
deal will see Future Ticketing take title sponsorship of the www.futureticketing.ie Maiden Hurdle which will be run
as third race on St. Stephen’s Day, the opening day of the four day Festival.
The
Willie Mullins-trained Battleford, runner up in the 2016 Cheltenham Champion
Bumper leads the entries for the €12,500 prize fund and will be aiming to get
back on track for the 2017 Cheltenham Festival after a disappointing outing
last time at Navan.
Announcing
the sponsorship, Liam Holton, CEO of Future Ticketing, said, “We are delighted
to get involved with sponsorship at Limerick Racecourse. This is our first
venture into race sponsorship at Future Ticketing. We have a particular passion for horse racing
and we already work with a number of the leading commercial racecourses in
Ireland including Punchestown, Galway, Listowel and Naas.”
Welcoming
the sponsorship Conor O’ Neill, General Manager of Limerick Racecourse,
added, “We began working with Future Ticketing as our ticketing software
partner last year and they have done a wonderful job here on enhancing our
online sales. The upcoming Shannon Airport Christmas Racing Festival looks set
to be the best yet with some great racing and lots of excitement on and off the
course.”
