Neville Hotels today announced their sponsorship of the Grade 1 Novice Steeplechase (formerly Fort Leney Chase) at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival (December 29th) with top National Hunt jockey Paul Carberry and his family, wife, Rachel Carberry and daughters Kasey Lou and Elle Jay at the historic Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire.
One of the seven Grade 1 races at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival, taking place on the final day (Tuesday, Decemer 29th), the Neville Hotels Novice Steeplechase boasts an honour roll of champions including Carlingford Lough and Tony McCoy (2015 Hennessy Gold Cup Winners), Don Poli and Bryan Cooper (winner of the RSA Chase at Cheltenham 2015) as well as Paul Carberry and Casey Jones in 2008. The three mile novice steeplechase has a proven record of producing top-class staying chasers who often progress to the RSA Chase and Gold Cup.
