Horse Racing Ireland’s Communications and
Corporate Affairs department manages the communications functions of HRI, its
various departments and subsidiaries. The department is responsible for internal
and external corporate communications, HRI’s press office and extensive event
management. The Communications and Corporate Affairs department is the direct
point of contact in Horse Racing Ireland for the Minister of Agriculture, Food
and the Marine and other government departments and bodies.

Racing Content Editor
Shane is a member of the Communications team at Horse Racing Ireland. He is the chief copy writer for HRI's suite of websites, the “GoRacing” newsletters published on Wednesdays and Fridays and many Irish racing press releases. Shane produces the “Weekly News”, an Irish racing column distributed to all regional newspapers. He also writes the daily racing column “Today's Tips” which previews all Irish race meetings and records regular podcasts previewing Irish racing for the weekend ahead.
